APEMIND / ENTERPRISE RAG
Enterprise knowledge base & private deployment
ApeMind connects enterprise documents, retrieval and AI agents. Use vector, full-text and graph indexes to investigate questions across your knowledge base, then return to the source material to check the answer.
From enterprise knowledge to a verifiable answer
Knowledge ingestion
Import files and websites. Configure document parsers and models for your deployment, and inspect processing and index status.
Agentic RAG and knowledge graphs
Agents can plan tasks, retrieve knowledge, follow entity relationships and call configured MCP tools. Graph retrieval complements vector and full-text search; its usefulness depends on the documents and question.
Source citations and access boundaries
Inspect the sources behind an answer. Organizations, roles and workspace-bound API keys control resource access. A citation is a route back to evidence, not proof that a conclusion is correct.
What private deployment requires
Private deployment lets you run the platform with your chosen model, parsing and storage services. It does not automatically make every integration offline. Review each configured provider and tool before processing sensitive material.
- Document where source files, indexes, conversation data and backups are stored.
- Check network access for language, embedding and reranking models, OCR and parsing services, web search and MCP tools.
- Validate organization roles, API key scopes, sharing and revocation with separate test identities.
- Size storage and compute against your documents, index choices and target concurrency; verify backup and recovery in your environment.
A POC checklist for enterprise RAG
Agree on acceptance criteria before comparing platforms. Keep the dataset, model versions, configuration and resource budget explicit; record failures as well as successful answers.
- Include simple lookups, cross-document questions, scanned tables, unanswerable questions and attempts to access unauthorized material.
- Check whether each important claim is supported by the cited passage and whether the original source can be opened.
- Measure answer quality, citation correctness, processing time, response latency and model usage on the same question set.
- Repeat after document updates, deletion and permission changes. Verify that new reads follow the current access boundary.
Questions before choosing a platform
What is ApeMind used for?
ApeMind is an enterprise RAG and AI agent platform for building knowledge bases, retrieving documents and using tools to investigate questions. It combines vector, full-text and graph indexes with agent execution.
Does private deployment mean data never leaves the network?
Not by itself. Data flow depends on the selected model endpoints, parsers, search services and MCP tools. Review and configure those dependencies to meet your data residency requirements.
When should we evaluate Graph RAG?
Evaluate it when questions depend on relationships across documents, such as suppliers, parts, products and contracts. Compare it with vector and full-text retrieval on your own dataset; graphs do not guarantee better answers for every task.
How should we compare ApeMind with Dify, RAGFlow or FastGPT?
Use the same documents and questions, record product and model versions, and assess citations, access controls, deployment dependencies, latency and cost. No universal performance ranking is implied; the result depends on your workload and configuration.
